What is Moss & Tale?
Moss & Tale creates personalised bedtime stories for your child, delivered every night.
How do I add my child's profile?
Go to Children in the menu, tap "Add child", and follow the 4-step wizard.
When does my child's story arrive?
Stories are generated ~2 hours before your child's bedtime and delivered via email notification.
What are seeds?
Seeds are story credits. Use them to generate extra stories or choose-your-own adventures.

My story didn't arrive
Check your Library â the story may be there without the email. Also check spam/junk folders.
The story doesn't seem right
Stories are AI-generated and personalised. Use the journal to guide tonight's story, or rate it so we improve.
How do I change my child's bedtime?
Go to Children, tap your child's profile, and update the bedtime field.
What are Choose Your Own Adventures?
Interactive stories where your child makes choices that shape the plot. Costs 2 seeds.
Sharing
How do I share a story?
Open any story and tap "Share this story" to copy a link anyone can read for 30 days.
How do I download a PDF?
Open any story and tap "Download PDF" for a beautiful picture book format.
How do I send stories to my Kindle?
Go to Settings â Send to Kindle. Enter your Kindle email and follow the whitelist instructions.
Can I print a story?
Yes â open any story and tap "Print" to open the print dialog with the illustrated PDF.
Account
How do I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Go to Settings or the Pricing page to change your subscription tier.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings â your subscription shows a cancel option. Your plan continues until the end of the billing period.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings â scroll to the bottom â "Delete my account". This permanently removes all data.
Can I download my data?
Yes â go to Settings â "Download my data" to get a full JSON export of your account.
Privacy
How is my child's data protected?
We follow UK GDPR and the Children's Code. Data is encrypted, never sold, and you can delete it anytime.
Are stories generated by AI?
Yes â each story is created by AI, personalised for your child. We review safety filters to ensure appropriate content.
How do I manage email notifications?
Go to Settings â Email notifications. You can toggle story-ready and marketing emails independently.
