When does my child's story arrive?

Stories are generated approximately 2 hours before your child's bedtime and delivered to your inbox as an email notification. The email contains a link to read the story in the app.

How it works

• We run a sweep every 15 minutes, looking for children whose bedtime is ~2 hours away
• Your story is generated fresh each time — never reused
• You'll get an email with the story ready to read

If a story doesn't arrive

• Check your Library in the app — the story may be there even without an email
• Check your spam/junk folder and whitelist stories@mossandtale.com
• Check that your child's bedtime and timezone are set correctly in their profile
• Free plan stories are text-only; illustrations/audio require Premium or Family
