Are stories generated by AI?

Yes, every story is generated by AI — specifically, Anthropic's Claude model. Each story is created fresh, from scratch, for your child.

How personalisation works

We pass your child's profile to the AI — their name, age group, interests, pets, friends — and it writes a story around them. The AI doesn't just drop the name in; the story is genuinely built around their details.

Safety filtering

Every story goes through automated safety checks before it reaches you. If a story fails the safety filter, it's regenerated — you never see the failed version. We check for:

• Age-appropriate content and vocabulary
• No scary, violent, or inappropriate themes
• Positive story endings and values

Is child data used to train AI?

No. We use the Anthropic API in a way that does not allow your data to be used for model training. See our Privacy Policy for details.

What if something inappropriate gets through?

Please email support@mossandtale.com immediately with the story ID. We take this very seriously and investigate every report.
